It's that time again. heading out for the weekend to do Mariney stuff. At least this weekend won't be 40 degrees and raining. should be beautiful weather....and of course this time we are training largely indoors. not really...but in and out of buildings. running around doing urban training in cinderblock buildings formed into a little town. It's funny. Back in the day the town was set up to look like a German or Eastern European town...I guess it was built back at the tail end of the Cold War. Now it has arabic signs up and they've put a little mosque minaret on top of one of the taller buildings.

In years past I was running in and out of buildings trying to remember everything they were yelling at us to do. Now I get to instruct. It's strange.
work has picked up so I've been keeping pretty busy of late...which is good. I also need the extra cash. Did get a chance to see a good documentary the other day called So Much So Fast about a guy with ALS and the foundation his brother started in an attempt to find a cure for him before he died. It was done very simply and forthrightly and was far from a "woe is us" kind of thing. really amazing stuff.
got The Fall from Netflix yesterday and really looking forward to seeing that one too.
anyway...gotta go get gear ready and all that. see y'all in a few days.
