Pretty certain I didn't pass that test last night. It's an industry certification that asks all kinds of questions that have absolutely nothing to do with the actual work that we do in the field. Normally I am pretty good at tests, but they did not give us much notice on this one. I think most of the guys taking it had taken it before and only myself and maybe one other were taking it for the first time. Think I aced the general knowledge section, but the more technically specific section had a lot of terminology that we never use day to day and obscure problems not very well described...the equivalent to trying to trouble-shoot something over the phone while talking to an engineer who thinks he knows how to describe the problem.

oh well. at least I have a nice head cold to keep me chipper. actually it is just probably allergies from all the oak pollen being tossed around in the heavy winds and rain from the last few days.
