my job is weird.
I have a test tomorrow for an industry certification. They told me this on Thursday. I thought i was going to take it last year and read up on the material, but then they never did the test. So, I have forgotten a lot of it and am having to reread up on it.
The job that I do is mostly "common sense". I fix air conditioners and furnaces. You find the problem and you repair it. It's not always that simple, but that's the gist of it. This test is all about theory. The physics behind refrigeration. Now, I find this stuff incredibly interesting, but I do not find myself considering the Laws of Thermodynamics, Coulomb's Law, or the inverse properties of pressure and volume on a daily basis.
so I get to "cram" for a test for the first time in nearly a decade. good practice for when I finally get back to finish my degree (hopefully later this year).
spent the weekend helping some friends move and taking my dad to the doctor. cancer still seems to be staying away. he's been back at work for a while now, despite being in pain a lot of the time. He broke up a ring of frauds that were targeting the elderly....along the same lines of the Nigerian Prince scam, but using fake religious organizations.
shot some more film through the Holga, but haven't gotten it developed yet. trying the black and white film now.
I like the Holga, but it's strange shooting film again.

Yay for dad staying healthy! Sounds like he's been productive, too.
Nothing as fun as a camera's in my budget right now, but will be soon. I'm so excited about the summer! Things are looking up.
