Relaxed weekend. Spent some time with family and with friends. Had to drive down to San Antonio with my youngest (half)brother since my motorcycle is in the shop for a while. Turned out the engine leak was fairly significant. Throw in a drive chain that is badly overdue for being changed out and some other items...it all adds up pretty quick.
anyhow. spent some time with my family just hanging out. Stopped in to see my friends in town as well and was persuaded to join in on some Rock Band tomfoolery. The last few attempts at Guitar Hero/Rock Band has not gone well for me since I don't have a console at home I have no practice on these game and end up getting us booed off stage. But I managed to pick it up enough to get to playing Medium level on bass or guitar. I'm lost on drums, which seems odd to me because that's the only instrument of the ones available in the game that I've ever played.
took my friend dogs to the dog park on Sunday and had fun running around with them. The dog park that we go to is fairly small and popular so it gets kinda crowded. especially when you have several big mastiffs and some great danes wandering about. True to form my friend's pug insisted on running around and following one of the mastiffs trying to get it to play.
oh and got dragged out to see the Paul Blart: Mall Cop movie. It was ridiculous. It had funny moments, but I just sat through most of it thinking "ok...that's supposed to be funny". I enjoyed it because I was with my friends who take pleasure in goofy funny movies like that, but I don't know if I would have gone on my own...pretty sure not.
didn't get a lot of sleep this weekend. vivid and very odd dreams and kept waking up through out the night all weekend.
now it's another work week.
oh yeah. watching Tekkon Kinkreet. incredible animation. just beautiful.

For the time being I just need something to pay the bills in in PDX.
Starting and managing a personal design group is far too much work to handle. It'd suck my energy, and i prefer to keep it to create !
