this is my favorite time of the year. weatherwise and in general.
Central and South Texas doesn't really have much of a spring. it just kinda goes from dreary to fuckin' hot in about three weeks. I like the hot weather, but by about this time I'd ready for the break.
this is also the time of the year that I most love to travel. not going to happen this year I don't think. Just too slow at work to risk spending all the savings and the economy is making people even less likely to spend....so I'll hold on to what I can for a while and make plans for next year maybe. I also really need to get serious about finishing off this degree. I've been saying that since about 2003 and haven't made much progress. Have to check out my options for schooling and get it done. I'd really like to get my master's finished within the next five years.

There are a lot of good places on the list to maybe try lunch at some time (when we have the time O_O), since it's not as pricey.
