Got my motorcycle back from the shop this afternoon.




it took all my self control to not go 90mph down South Congress through Austin.

. I definitely think I'll be going for a longer ride tomorrow.

cooked up our first stir fry with the new wok tonight. made chicken in a red curry, ginger, and coriander (cilantro) sauce over some tumeric rice. came out pretty good, but at one point I had to chase Ico out of the kitchen and in the minute and a half that I had my back turned, the whole kitchen went full of smoke from the oil and some remanants of the sauce in the skillet. it was bad. had to open the windows and porch door to air the place out. the smoke detector didn't go off through the whole thing. good thing to know.

so..had a good dinner and watched the first DVD of the Samurai Champloo series. it was pretty good. I can see why it might not have caught on here in the States as well as Cowboy Bebop did, but I like it quite a bit.

so tomorrow....St. Patrick's Day...and SXSW....and I've got my motorcycle back...and it's a Saturday.... nice.
