my plans for the weekend got shot to hell and gone when it turned out that my motorcycle required more than just the routine work I turned it in for. I rode it 800 miles roundtrip to Louisiana and back last weekend for drill and the chain finally got so fucked that it was jumping off the sprockets and wearing on the chain guard etc. added to that the fact that a typo had the wrong front sprocket ordered so I have to wait an extra three or so days to get the bike back, leaving me with no transport and less cash than I thought I'd have. oh well.
it's a season for things falling apart it seems. My cellphone started flaking out like a sycophant coke addict. it finally tested my paitence to it's limit and well...
maybe my anger management could use some work. (Actually I have been dealing with a bit more rage than usual lately). anyhow I bought a replacement for the phone that I'm quite happy with. and I said fuck it with the flip clamshell castenets cell phones. I think what finally turned me off to them was being stuck around a particularly self important asshole who concluded every phone call by smartly snapping the phone shut like it were a freaking zippo or something.
but I like my new phone. it's sturdy and has all the features of the old one and does what I need it too.
also my desktop computer is STILL not working. I have now had the replacement part in my apartment for more than 40 days and nights and they still can't seem to assign a tech to come and fix it. very soon I'll probably just give up and get it fixed on my own.
so no computer, than how am I online at this present moment you may ask (or may not depending on interest level,but if you made it this far...I'll dare to assume)
I bought myself for the impending occasion of special signifigance...this being my...uh...er...third annual 26th birthday...to get a wireless router and reciever to put onto my aging but still quite effective (AHEM!) laptop. so even without the amazing performance of my newer infernal device..this little computer than can...and does...is.
I'd go into all kinds of details about what I've been up to...but I don't want to spend my saturday night rehashing the last month and a half. I did go to a fun motorcycle show and sit on all the bikes.
I'm also much closer to resuming classes and finishing off my degree. actual classes will have to wait until I return from training in Aruba, working with the Dutch Royal Marines...training is looking interesting if exhausting.
other than that....I'm with reliable internet access again (until something else goes wrong anyway) so I'll be back on here a bit more often.
but for now I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and plan the murder of many a chocolate bunny and hordes of peeps.
