What is Gender? What is it to you?

I want to know what you think gender really is and how far it can be manipulated and alterd, or if it even can at all. Post your thaughts and I will respond with my veiws and counterpoints of interpretation.

There are people in this world who are not happy or comfertable with thier gender, weather or not they fuly understand what gender means is another story. Yet the fact remains people for whatever reason are psychologically uncomfertable with thier body and thier gender. It is also true that if you choose any normal person on the planet and they suddenly became the opposite sex it would be a source of mental distress and dissonance. However I would like to point out that in recent studies autistics are found to have a "dynamic" or "lose" gender identitiy and have a overwhelming tendancy to be Bisexual. If an autistic were to suddenly change gender it would not cause any psychological problems (in theory). This brings up a question. Is there a difference between being sexually attracted to both genders or being a gender and mental configuration as such that you yourself can take on a female or male role in sex and life in general? This information causes us to question why people are a given gender or sexual orientation. It is very possible that an individules gender identitiy and the flexibility of it plays a key role in sexual preference.

A majority of your posts in the Feminism group thus far have been either trollish or pointless. In some threads, it's clear that you didn't bother reading past the first page to see how the thread transformed. The threads in the group have a tendency to go off on interesting tangents, but if you don't bother reading the thread you'll miss all that.
As for saying the threads are bad, why do you feel this way?
Your posts also tend to be short without being informative. The group is big on discussion and analyzing ideas. If you simply state "I don't like something" and leave it at that, you're not really making a point that adds to discussion.
Overall, I think you could get a lot out of the group, but right now all you're doing is evoking a lot of
