A journal, in point form.
-replaced power supply on media computer. Swung an excellent deal of $56CAN for a 550 watt with a dual fan. Quite pleased.
-Sent laptop in for replairs (this is reason why am on a scary G4. I remain confused and bewildered. Although am digging Garage Band as I remix NIN's The Hand That Feeds). Stupidly tripped over power cord and it landed on its side and snapped the disc drive (which was open) right off, and I believe the heat sink has been jostled, as said laptop stays on for 20 minutes, overheats, and shuts itself down. Yes the fan is working (for all you computer savvy friends o' mine).
-Took G-Ma to hardware store. Several hours of shuffling later, we emerged with a few household items. Was not so bad, as she was in a rare good mood.
-Woke up to a loud obnoxious power drill this morning. But irritation has been waylaid by really cute apprentice who appreared in basement yesterday afternoon.
-Go see Batman Begins.
-Bumped in to a local celebrity - former DJ, VJ, and now host of his own show on CBC, George Strombolopolous (holy hell how do you spell that?) at the IMAX where I saw Batman Begins last week. Made complete ass of self. I grew up listening to the guy, and he's hot. So I shook his hand, and then tripped up the stairs, spilling popcorn everywhere. Lovely.
-Purchased army surplus combat boots for new job, which begins on Monday, for the bargain price of $50CAN. They belonged to someone named Private Ray 934.
