My crazy grandmother, who shows her affection by writing checks (as wonderful as this sounds, it comes with a price to pay in the form of eternal servitude), wants me to take her shopping. For lamp shades. The last time I took her to the post office, it took 30 minutes to walk - excuse me - to shuffle across the mall. Not from one end of the complex to the other, mind you. From one side of the hallway to the other. My point being, this is what my entire weekend has narrowed down to. A six hour journey to the hardware store. I know this sounds cruel and impatient, but my grandmother was not nicknamed "The Dragon Lady" by certain members of the family for shits and giggles.... ok it was for shits and giggles... but there are many MANY good reasons for it. As in, I'm surprised my mother is sane.
In other news, I had a long, philosophical conversation with a good friend. I believe he really DOES see dead people, and he told me many interesting things, psychically, and spiritually. For reasons I have yet to fathom, I feel a level of fulfillment I have never experienced before. But I have to noodle on this a little longer before I can elaborate.
My cat is really weird.
They were digging up the basement floor to lay new piping for my bathroom, and my retard cat, Ti, randomly sat on that little island of concrete for maybe a half hour. Then she'd go and do something else, and then come back to it again.

But I digress ...
A coveted spot on my friends list you say? Well ... that is all too easily done. That was prolly coming anyways - that isn't a prize.
Anything else? CD? MP3? Book? Hug?
