The Gala was wonderful... I met so many new people, and saw lots of good friends. And drank... boy did I drink.
Here is a scary picture of me with Lisseth and Lucy. I was being silly... but upon seeing it, I totally ruined the picture.
I'm reminded of Stewie: "Hey Chris? Whatever happened to Geena Davis? She used to be in movies, but she's not in movies anymore. She's attractive enough, but when she smiles you see too much gum. Not a good tooth to gum ratio."
Anyway I will follow with more thoughts on the gala... and the wonderful people I met. I am a little down these days... boyfriend woes primarily, but also old social anxieties are coming back to haunt me. I'm always afraid that if I let new friends get too close then they'll get to really know me, and won't like what they see. It's so silly... such a throwback from public school even. It's time I got over it.
I have recently been wetting my underwear over the following picture:
The concert is in 24 days... and I am determined to get back stage to meet him before he hibernates for another 5 years. Any feasible ideas? Anyone? How does one obtain a backstage pass?

The show was on Saturday night @ 7. BUt i have a dvd that i'm going to get copied and send some out to those who want one. For a wee price that is. but for you. FREE!
