For months now the my site has been without a site manager. I seen 3 weeks ago they post a listing on there web site for the site manager position. I applied for it. A couple of weeks went by. So I decided to sent the VP of ops a follow up e-mail. I got a response that I was going to actually get a phone interview. That was last Friday. I was nervous like crazy. After 1 hour and 5 minutes on the phone with the VP. The interview
was over. I had a good feeling about it. My wife was freaking a little because she wanted me to get it so bad. A couple of days go by. No big deal. Then on Wednesday I'm looking at my work e-mail and see that the VP wants me to call. I was thinking awww crap I didn't get it. To my surprise I GOT THE FREAKIN' PROMOTION!!! So since then I'v been kinda of aw struck. I'm just thinking that is a dream and I'll wake up at any moment. This means I move away from the all the problems I have this fucking neighborhood that I live in. It's only have gotten bad this last year. I just kinda find it weird to have the official title of site manager now.
