Second journal post - time to tackle the big issues: Science vs Religion.
On the one hand, science has given us instant global communication, intercontinental travel at Mach 2 (*sniff* Concorde SST we miss you), the ability to cure or prevent a huge variety of diseases which were previously life-threatening, efficient methods of producing food, and a million Shiny Things.
On the other hand, religion has delivered death and destruction to scores of people, and the ones that are left are happy when a self-important person lies to them. Seems like a clear-cut victory, except this morning as I was eating breakfast I realised something - Jebus invented hot cross buns.
Stalemate.
