OK, I don't know the backstory behind this - I am thinking it may have been a great joke - but effectively, an entire block of road was covered with dozens and dozens of pages of a porn magazine, each page ripped up and sent flying into the wind the other day. I'm not even talking good porn, but ultra net-style "The Barbie is trying to blow three guys at once" stuff.
Now, I laughed when I passed this on the way uptown, but on the way back.. I noticed something. Half the pages smashed into a pointy metal fence and around it, acting like a porn billboard. Next to a bus stop. More than once did I see, while at the crosswalk, really small children staring for long periods of time.
Now, call me odd, but had this been like.. nudity only or even remotely tasteful porn I'd probably not have cared, but figuring what it was, I decided to do a public service and pick it up to throw in the trashcan near the bus stop. Of course, I didn't think how this would look, and I'm pretty sure mor e than one person thought i was hording pages from a super trashy porn mag! At least that's what I got from the looks when I glanced up. I guess I shoulda just walked on past like everybody else, eh?
Oh and right before I threw it in the trash, I did get a look at the top sheet, and one of the guys very obviously had some kind of STD (tons of little bumps). I kicked myself for even looking at did a
- I guess I got what I deserved. But how messed up is that?
