vm

Well, after my NYE plans fell apart and I wound up staying home and talking to drunk people on the internet at midnight, I really had to do a lot of re-examining. What I've found is:

I've been here forr months and have no friends. This HAS TO CHANGE! heh

I don't have one person I can -really- talk to. Obviously don't want to chat to family about crap, and most of my net friends have a semi-superficial thing going.

Man, this is one lame ass jorunal entry but I'm really starting to re-consider where I'll wind up living permenantly. Meeting people here is like trying to crack plate steel with a toothpick it seems like, and all the jobs that I had hoped would be available have gone very lame - I'm not even sure I'd want to work at them if I could get one.

Not a very good New Years, I guess, but... despite my ranting.. I *DO* hold out hope it'll get better! Self-pitty gets you damned nowhere, so I'll just take the blow and keep on coming. It's better than the alternative.. really, there -is- no alternative.
