The view from one of my windows today.....
Typical rainy, gray, London day.
In need to escape from this city for awhile. Preferably soon. I have a love/hate relationship with this city. At the moment I hate the traffic congestion, the continual sounds of emergency sirens keeping me awake, being talked to by crazy people, the urban decay that I feel sorrounds me, suffocating me, trapping my mind in a cage.
I need silence, clean air, green grass, flowers, and an untroubled soul.
On another note, I saw the movie Marie Antoinette last night. From a critical point of view it was light on the storyline, but beautifully shot. Plus I have a soft spot for any movie that has Asia Argento in it. I love her.
Hope everyone had a little piece of decadence or debauchery in their weekend. Sorry for the depressing post.
