what a long, fucking drive.

packed up, closed the bank account, said the good byes and
finally got on the road about 6. well, left denver at 6.

pretty unexciting until i saw the semi on fire. well, they were still
putting it out, but didn't see any flames. not much left of the semi
and part of the trailer was also gone. insane.

i managed to get all of kansas done in the dark. which is nice because
it's a boring drive. almost ran out of gas and the place i stopped was
swarming with june bugs. and it's the one bug i hate because they only
want to fly at your face and be annoying. i was slightly happy to have
killed a bunch driving to the gas pump.

finally had a chance to sleep just outside liberty, missouri. which isn't far
from independence, missouri. sensing a theme. so was i, but then it
stopped. piss off.
so, after a lovely two hour nap and another $30 in gas i was on the road.
at this point, i was to tired of being in the car, the rest of the trip was a
blur. talked to a bunch of people on the road-well, from colorado
and chicago. i was tempted to turn around a few times by lunch offers and vegan
cheesecake. which would have been nice.

the midwest is so damn green, it's insane.

okay, time to get off the computer, people are being emo and i need
to get out of the house.
