Update on my Grandfather....

He passed away Oct. 12th late at night. He went very peacefully with a lot of family surrounding him. He asked to be taken off all the equipment and made sure everyone was there before he passed. The funeral was on Thursday, very small with only family attending, and beautiful.

He was an amazing man with an amazing carpentry gift although he was blind. He could build better than anyone with sight!! And even though he wasn't able to see... he now can see all of us for the first time and i know he's smiling down on those whom loved him.

Thank You to all of you who sent me well wishes when i found out he was sent to ER... I appreciate it much more than you know.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I lost a good friend on the 10th and was at his funeral on Thursday as well. The same day as my wife's birthday. Not a fun day for anyone sounds like. My friend was 19 when he passed and someone told me that that it's not the years in your life but the life in your years and it sounds like your grandfather filled his years with life.I lost my grandfather 5 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't miss him. I keep him alive in my heart and value the time that we had together. I know that we will be together again some day. If I can do anything for you or your family please let me know.
