The last couple of days have been pretty good.

Thursday, I went to the hospital for a shot. Not fun but I found out that it was the last of my treatment for a few months. I am so relieved. I am still sick, weak and tired but hopefully I won't be for much longer. I received some yummy candy in the mail. I had forgotten how tasty Nerds were. I was happy to have a box full of Nerds, Sweettarts, Starlight mints and hard candies. I ate candy until I felt sick.

Today, I drove around the island and ended up at Bananakeet Cafe. I had a couple of drinks and enjoyed the view and breeze. I then went to the Post Office and picked up a package full of SG merchandise. I wish I had a camera so I could post photos.

Tomorrow, my roommate and I are going to see Ratatouille. The local community college shows movies on the weekend. Sadly there are no movie theatres on the island but this is the next best thing.

I am starting to feel sad about leaving the island but happy to see my friends and family back home. I have some major mixed feelings about this. I guess I will have to take it one day at a time.
