Junior Brown was great ...........he played country,blues,surf among other stuff. The Mercury Lounge was a little too small of a venue for him . It was packed with people spilling out onto the patio and the air conditioning wasnt working so it made for one sweaty show 
. He played for an hour & 15 minutes straight and he was wearing a suit . I can only imagine how hot he was. Looks like he is coming back there on Aug 31st.

Yep, i was at the Social D show as well . It was my first time seeing them .....................twas a great night.

Sitting here listening to the new/debut Velvet Revolver cd . Pretty good stuff ..............seems to get better as the cd goes on . I dont buy much new music these days .............this is the first "must purchase" cd for me since The White Stripes "Elephant" cd came out.
