Well,thought I would write another blog...
hmm....hope I wont get soaked tomorrow...and it doesn't chuck it down....and I forgot to blog about last night's dinner party didn't I !!!!!!!
Well, it was really good...and I mean really good!
we had to get a few ingredients for what we were planning to cook...in the morning which meant a little trip to the local shopping park...and this time I was the one driving... and yeah I went the wrong way round the car park but I knew what I was doing...had I not done that we wouldn't have got a space so quick!
Anyway,yeah,got what we needed anyway(and I found some cute cheap jewels...I have a thing about jewellery....)and went home to cook...and I chopped a few vegetables at least..not onions..don't want my make up to run!

Was a bit of a hurry to cook and we left at around 3:30 to drive to the other side of town and got there around 4 as it was tipping it down...
Met another friend of Pressy's,Meena whom was nice and also there for dinner...
Rosa and Steve(mutual friends)also came along after 4 and had a nice chat with Meena and Steve until dinner was ready...the others were in the kitchen..we had cooked the Pancit since luckily we already knew before that there wasn't a veggie option for lil' old me! They had cottage pie though and I had the pancit and some potatoes...black forest gateau for afters...

The conversation went onto many things....(I shall blog about one particular thing we talked about separately later on!)and then later we all went and sat in the conservatory and chatted more..I chatted LOTS to Steve about mainly music and he took a few recommendations of mine...
Went outside when the sun came out and chatted more and sat at her new patio set although Meena left not long after we had dinner and wandered around her garden which really is beautiful and I need to upload the photos as well....
My skirt made me feel a little self concious since it's a 'tulip' one and just a bit high cut! Maybe I shoulda worn the velvet one after all..hehe!
Had cake and chatted more and Rosa and Steve stayed until 9:30 and we intended to stay only until 10pm but we stayed half an hour longer as I wanted to see Pressy's wardrobe as I know she has a lot of pretty dresses....
and my was I not dissapointed...wow..
she has some of the most gorgeous dresses from around the world since her fencing tournaments have taken her everywhere!
Sooo lovely...some retro dresses and I loved the gold sequinned butterfly top..saw a photo of her wearing it...awww,can' t I have a lend of it....Loved that polka dot frilly dressing gown!
She has some amazing clothes and very much made me think of that Dita Von Teese quote!!!!!
Wow....and I only saw 2 of her 3 wardrobes! Wasn't time for the rest but I did take some photos of the said nicest dresses...
Only problem is that it makes my wardrobe look rather blah in comparrison!
I mean I do have some nice dresses but still....should I have worn something more dressy...or maybe that lace top I had on last week....I was wearing purple but pink is still my colour!
Ah well....got home and just tidied up and went to bed...
But it was still a very good and enjoyable night...Rosa came over this afternoon anyway...
And I DO hope I hear something tomorrow or soon over my appointment for my skin problem....grrrr....I really did feel like I was sitting there getting totally nowhere last tuesday....
long black velvet skirt tomorrow?...hmmmm...typical..I pick a really nice skirt I've been meaning to wear for ages and the weather turns!
I think I'll finish up now....just felt like blogging again....gonna go have a shower,do my nails and go to bed...
