That wasn't as big of a train wreck as i was hoping for. However it was a nice sized fender bender. Palin said she wasn't going to answer questions how the monitor wanted her to and that she was going to talk straight to the American people. That was obviously an excuse to read straight from the script she had been given.
Palin didn't land on her face. But she didn't land anywhere near reality ether.
Palin refused to make one distinction between their campaign and the bush administration. Hmm, I wonder why?

Joe Biden came off appearing like an angel. He didn't attack her personally and you could see that it was hard on him. He always directly attacked McCain. Save for the one time when he said that the topic was the ultimate bridge to nowhere.
SOME ONE FINALLY CALLED HIM OUT ON BEING A MAVERICK!!! Joe Biden listed a number of areas where the republicans blanket "He's a Maverick" Saying didn't hold up.
Have any of you seen the movie Wag The Dog? If you haven't go watch it. It sounds exactly like McCain and his "Maverick" Slogans.
I'm surprised that no one else has made that connection. Between that movie and the McCain Slogans.
Every time I hear the term Maverick i am transported to visions of the movie Top Gun.
"I feel the need, the need for speed." Makes me laugh. Are they trying to associate McCain with Tom Cruise? That's what I'm coming up with
They are using Maverick as a catch phrase to make him look young again and to confuse the American people. Maverick that makes him sound young and vibrant. Haha
