On the hair front I went to the hairdressers on Monday, I had decided to go really dark with some red highlights but the hairdresser said Id be stuck dark for ages and ages and I wouldn't be able to go blonde afterwards as it would end up orange, so I'll admit that I chickened out and went blonde. I think I might go dark next time, maybe
Ive been very busy, started my bar course on Monday night, holy shit I had no idea about some of the dirtier aspects of the job. I was almost turned off by what I heard.
Last night was awesome, we were thrown into the deep end, I was shitting myself cause we had to run a mock up night club bar, pulling beers, spirits etc, we had customers (the students that weren't running the bar were the customers) and had to do the cash register with money etc. Loud music blaring, it was dark with strobe lighting, felt very authentic. I had so much fun, I ended up feeling very comfortable behind the bar, I loved it!
We had a full keg of beer that we could drink as much as we wanted when we were the customers, Im not really into beer but it was free, so I thought what the hell!
Anyway it was a really good night, im looking forward to class this evening.
Valentines day was excellent but we couldn't go out for dinner because my course started that night. My husband surprised me by cooking up a storm whilst I was at school.
He's such a good cook, we call him the iron chef -as in the show if you've ever seen it- he made mushroom and capsicum stuffed chicken with hollandaise sauce, yummo it was most delicious!
Anyway, I hope everyone else had a great valentines day too!
