what a run.

wednesday i went to the pistons' game. we were in a suite, so it was pretty pimp. the were some friends of friends there that i spent most of the night "getting to know." don't confuse that with "hitting on," because they are two entirely different animals. afterwards, we went to the post bar. meh.

thursday i went to see boys night out at st andrews hall. they fucking sold it out! holy fuck, i saw jawbreaker there and it was only half full. regardless, it was a great show and my girl, kara, has done good for herself. she and i went to jacoby's after the show and hung out with her family for a bit. i am so excited for her...she got engaged and is a complete rockstar. what a life!

friday was as downriver as it can be for me. went to the oak in wyandotte to celebrate my friend's birthday. sat around and drank some draft rootbeer and ate some jumping jacks (pepperjack cheese sticks breaded with crushed tortilla chips...so good). he got hammered and we all had a good laugh.

last night was spent at smalls in hamtramck. this was the heads will roll ep release event that i had been excited about for weeks. paradise opened and those guys get better every time i see them. hwr was loud as fuck and i had a blast destroying my hearing. i stayed a little while after they played and listened to dj mikey dufour spin some old shit that i forgot was still good. great time.

today i will be relaxing and loading some cds into itunes, while doing laundry.
