comfort me-sparklehorse

with rocks in my dress
and smoke in my hair
I walked into a lake
to get some sleep down in there

won't you come to comfort me?
won't you come to comfort me?

With minnows in my belly
and deep in my veins
the breath-robbin' lightning
was making diamonds of rain

won't you come to comfort me?
won't you come to comfort...

the amps-pacer

Now I like to get loud
I like to go to the other side
Just to think, you were just passin' by
Ridin' around
You spat in my eye
Just to think, you were just passin' by
We were hike to hike
Breezing by
You broke the pace
Just a twisted kid, never learned to ride
Now I like to get loud
I...

marcy playground-sex and candy

Hangin' round downtown by myself
And I had so much time
To sit and think about myself
And then there she was
Like double cherry pie
Yeah there she was
Like disco superfly
I smell sex and candy here
Who's that lounging in my chair
Who's that casting devious stares
In my direction
Mama this surely is a dream

Hangin' round...

tears for fears- mad world

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
And their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tommorow, no tommorow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of...

snow patrol run

I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done

And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
Away from here

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear...

huck:
dude, are you in a band?
huck:
well i'd certainly like to see some of your sculpture work if possible...?

i ask about the band because your writing is very lyrical, in the literal sense, which i really like and can relate to.

thanks for saying my work is better than most. my writing is the first thing i think of when i wake up and the last when i go to sleep; it seems we are stuck with each other, though who knows if it will take me anywhere.
