have you ever woken up and just felt thankful for all the good things in your life?

today I did, I think last night i was getting in a down head space which im prone to do from time to time.

I have never had things as good as I have them now. My buddy is visiting from miami and were taking 5 or 6 days to check out the southern coast of cali, I have paid vacation to do this which Ive never had in my life. Im making more money than I ever have in my life and Im working with people I truly enjoy. My buddy steve is a real friend who would give the shirt off of his back to help me without thinking of it. Ive met some really great people on the site here and I live in a city I enjoy every day in some way or another. Most of all Im all goofy into a girl who is lovely and enjoys the fact that Im a huge freak. Im getting too old for this shit im sure but I look forward to every day.

Life is good.

Viva, that is so awesome man. It made me feel good reading your entry. It's really cool that work life is going well for you. I say this because my own personal opinion is that controlling and changing the other areas of life seems to be more within our grasp than changing the satisfaction/happiness we experience at work. It's just a personal perception that i have- but i'm sure it's a flawed perception. Maybe becoming happy with work is no different than the effort we have to put in to other areas of our life to acheive happiness.

But, it's awesome you're doing well - CONGRATS!
