I am not happy with the way 2008 is starting off. I am depressed, I had such a bad 2007 I was so determined that this is going to be my year I am due for something to come my way that would bring me some joy. Sure I have my health and I have some good friends and I have a great job but I want more. Am I being greedy? I have decided I am going to spend my life alone, since all the great guys are married, have girlfriends ( so they're pretty much married), or live in a different country. And I am having some major issues with school I may not be able to go back.

2008 will only be great if you believe it can happen. I'm not a believer in "The Secret", but I do believe in the power of positive thinking. Do I sound too much like a douchebag self help guru?
