I GOT A CHRISTMAS TREE!!!! A nice 6 footer. Its very exciting because its my first "I'm a big girl/Mary Tyler Moore - we're gonna make it after all" Christmas tree for my first "I'm a big girl/Mary Tyler Moore - we're gonna make it after all" apartment. OH YEEEAH! Too bad I have been forbidden to decorate it until Adam gets back. I had to put some lights on it, though 
When I was a kid, decorating the tree was such a big deal. We'd put on Christmas music, and have eggnog, and talk about each ornament as we got them out. Then we'd turn off the lights, and just sit and look at the finished tree. *sigh*. Sometimes being a big girl all along in a strange city makes a me lonely for my family.

Ok, yeah, congrats on the Tree. I have a little ceramic one with the lights already in place, kicks ass, but gets really fucking hot fast. I need to buy some Christmas, or pardon me, Holiday lights soon, for my room. I always like falling asleep to holiday lights.
