So I forgot I was working last night. My boss had to call me. Heres how that went:

6:18 pm, I'm sitting in my pjs reading about biology, drinking eggnog

*ring*
Leah: hello?
Work: hi, this is Kerri (my boss)
Leah: oh hi, whats up?
Work: um, did you know you're on the schedule at 6?
Leah: ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?
Work: no, why would I be kidding? (and then to someone else standing by her: she's cussing! hehehe)
Leah: ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?
Work: no, you really are!
Leah: Oh my god, I'll be right there!
*click*

Yeah, so that sucked. I even forgot to put my plugs in, so my cat-butt ears were exposed for all the world to see.

Its snowing. Please, someone make it stop. skull

I've forgotton to go work loads of times esp when i'm doing the late shift. One time i was sat in starbucks chatting and having coffee with my friend and work rang. I told them i had taken my friend to the hospital! I then had to get home without walking past my job!

Lots of people are spooked out by them, usually people who watch horror! I've had people say they remind them of Chucky but i don't watch horror at all so i don't know what they're on about!

It's snowing here to now-I used to love it when I was a kid, and I didn't have to drive in it ever-but now, I dislike it greatly. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty and such, but just a reminder that it's going to be cold for the next 4 or 5 months.

I'm 'on call' this week, so I'm expecting to get phone calls when I'm not scheduled to work myself. Granted I work everyday this week, but now I get the extra bonus of 'maybe having to come back in' after I leave to fix problems that may arrise.

Lovely work, don't you love it.

Yeah, I think Midwest parents are some of the nicest in the world, as far as my experience goes. Though, we're not originally from Wisconsin. My Dad is from Iowa, my Mother from Texas.
