The only society I'm a part of is the NCN, or National Caricaturists Netwrk, which consists of about 500 or so of us caricature artist(or former in my case), world wide. We have a convention every year-this year, it fell on the same week as inventory at work-so i was unable to go. This was the rough week I was referring to in my journal. But that shit is done finally.

Evil scale! Fortunately, my weight has been dropping since last November, when I had my big break-up. Those are good for making you lose weight, but I don't recommend them.
It's not like I'm losing quickly, either, but I'm trying not to give a shit either way. I'm just working out and trying to eat better in the hopes that it'll become a habit and I can avoid becoming one of those fat, depressed 40 year olds. It improves my mood, too, which is a big plus.
