I've just gotten back from Breaks Interstate Park... and to those of you who don't know what that is take a minute and LOOK. The pictures on this site are pretty crappy but if I get a minute or two later on I'll post them. It's right on the boarder of Kentucky and Virginia at a gap or 'break' in Pine Mountian. Quite a captivating place really.
My Honcho and I had just planned this little weekend get away to relax and he ended up giving me a huge surprise!! We came home engaged I know that I haven't spoken about this man on here alot but he means the world to me... We've been together about five yrs now, and for those of you that have been around for awhile you may remember me mentioning him when we bought our house. I'll fill you in on the details later.
But on another note... Has anyone else noticed that the site has changed??! I kinda like the new look. A show of hands for others in favor? I guess I just like it because it gives me more to explore, and I like the fact that it shows the members profile pic beside their comment and blows it up when you hover over it. I also like the calender function and the new way that our profile pages are layed out. I also love the way that we can see who's online now. The big thing that I don't like though is the top 5 friends... I personally hate that it's right out there like that and it's kinda childish and lame, too much like MySpace... I'll just let you all know now that I never intend to hurt anyone with that shit so, I put those on top who have been around for awhile and who I actually talk to a great deal and by No means are they in any particular order. This is no competition!! Sorry for my ranting... I'm done now.
