I know that it's been awhile and i hope you'll forgive me for being alittle busy. I try to step in every once in awhile to keep up with my comments and to reply to everyone, but getting used to this new job has been stressful.
Oh, did I tell you all that i got a new job? No more welding for me!! I will miss it but I am now the new office clerk at the factory where I worked. No cut in pay!! Day shift position!! (that means I may soon have my social life back ) And no more physical strain, burns, finger smashing, or cuts... unless you count silly little paper cuts I'm super excited and at the same time a little bummed. I sit at a desk all day and file papers and do computer work. Sometimes boring... I'll definately miss my hands on welding job. It's just a different kind of stress...
And to celebrate my new found job and Mardis Gras I went to the parade downtown on Saturday. Ran into Nikonphoto80 down there! ANd I also went to the awsome show after the parade. 'Burt Sugar' played at the The Dame and also led the parade. If you like funky hip-hop/soul, jammin' you should check them out. I had a really good time out there, even though I almost froze my hands off, and was even able to be the D.D. for some friends of mine I was really happy with the resulting pictures. I hope you all enjoy too. Please tell me what you like and feel free to give me pointers. It's my first real attempt at night shots and I thought it was a little tricky since the wind was blowing like hell and everyone was moving.
