First I'll wow you with alittle of this...

This is the trail head that me and the pooch take all the time at the nature preserve.

Then I thought I'd amaze you with some of this:

I apologise for the out-of-focus, cheesy bathroom-mirror shot but I had no other alternative at the time. (still haven't researched my cameras timer function ) This was taken about a week ago... right after I did this:

I was starting to get lazy and was having a hard time putting in the effort that it takes to take care of long hair, so I did the deed!! Hope you like, well because I LOVE! Besides if I'd waited any longer I'd have had dreads. Oh, and before I forget I did donate it all to the locks of love foundation. It's a nonprofit organization that makes donated hair (at least ten inches) into hair pieces and wigs for children that have gone through cancer. They have a data base of all their participating hair salons on their site, and if you want I'll post a link for you sometime. (if you're interested) It's pretty awsome to get to do something great with something that would have just gotten thrown away (plus when you donate your hair style is free!! )
