I spent too long trying to coherently type up an entry in my neglected livejournal so I'm doing a bit of the old cut 'n paste here.

Last night I got a phone call from my mom. She was supposed to call me back and let me know if she was coming down to go shopping. I asked where she was and she told me she was still in chemainus but was coming down. I'm like, uhhh you're going to have like a half an hour to shop by the time you get here. Then she's like, "actually we're right outside your window waiting for you to come down. get down here!!" What a brat my mom is. We went to Mayfair and noodled around looking at stuff. I found the perfect christmas gift for my mom but unfortunately it was one of the Bay's holiday decorative wreaths. I've been emailing people all day trying to find out how to convince them to sell me one but no such luck. I scoured the city today though looking for supplies to create my own and after much frustration I finally found something that will work and it cost me less than I thought. Hopefully it all goes smooth like buttah.

I want the movie elf so bad. It's so funny.

I bought an angel dress for our kitties today. I had to, it was on sale. Molly tried to eat it and Peachy kicked the shit out of me but after she had it on she started purring and flopping and hamming it up for the cam. I also bought myself a top hat! Of course I took pictures.
