I have a serious need to buy eyeshadow all of a sudden. I wish we had some adequate makeup brands over here. MAC here doesn't even sell palettes! WTF?!?
My darling dvb and I are going to vancouver on the 18th of december and that is just perfect because I will be out of linen right about then! Also, I must have the shu uemura eyelash curler. It's amazing. Hopefully I will have time to stop by some of the special fx makeup stores. I'd like to buy some wax and latex. I've had an urge to create cuts and scars since finding my rubber mask grease paints a few weeks ago.

this in our kitchen today. Peachy ate it. Apparently, thanks to the very helpful victoria livejournal community, it is called a silverfish, very pesky and is currently breeding all thru my apartment. Also, I should expect a family of them to be living in my bathtub in the near future
Davey made me an insanely spicy stirfry tonight using these new fake chicken strip thingers from, get this, schneiders. They have this whole new line of veggie stuff so I decided to try it despite the somewhat large price tag. The verdict: The stirfry was much too spicy to determine the actual flavor of these bits and you would most likely marinate them anyway, so I will go by texture. Slightly rubbery but different from tofu. I'm not sure if I would buy them again. Tofu is just so much cheaper and versatile and marinates much nicer.
Someone said to buy fleece sheets so I am going to buy fleece sheets and sleep completely naked from now on. I'll leave my old ones on the floor for the silverfish to feast on
