It's so close to raining outside. Come on, Sky, open up and let it pour.
Today is the purrfect sleep-in day.
Davey and I went up island last night for thanksgiving dinner. The sun-setting sky was so beautiful and I whipped out my camera to capture it on digital film at a stoplight only to have davey gasp and say, 'oh no baby, I stole two of your batteries for the gamebox controller'. He was horrified as he knows how much my photos mean to me. I was rather annoyed but I got over it and forgot to ask my mom for batteries later so I don't have any pictures to share. I made my sister cry. She is so sensitive. It drives me crazy. I was only teasing her, which if it had of been my younger sister, she would have said 'shutup asshole' or something equally pleasing. I guess in the entire 19 years we've known each other I haven't quite figured out that she is different than the rest of us. She's the black sheep of the family. I had hoped she'd grow out of it but it hasn't happened yet. I still feel bad though.
Peachy actually came in the bedroom this morning and I found her curled up behind my knees purring insanely. I picked her up and put her on my chest and she stayed! She usually won't cuddle with me ever but this time she let davey and i pet her and she was quite happy. That was nice. I hope she turns into a nice kitten soon.
I didn't make a baby present still and Brian is back at work today. I guess the baby isn't going any where though so I still have time.
I do NOT want to go to work today. I'm so tired and feeling very i-want-to-sleep-in-and-cuddle-with-my-boy. Too bad he's at work fixing computing modulaters all day.
My aunt called yesterday and asked me to come and help them because they are going through a million dollar lawsuit right now and of course, waited till the last possible minute to start preparing for it. Who does that?? We're talking about a million fucking dollars here. So yeah, I had to go out to the old job and stamp papers and type like a mad woman on the number keys. I accomplished a lot in a small amount of time so I guess they are thankful to have me helping but I still have to do some more work this week. I thought I'd escaped that place
My laundry is downstairs still because my moms dryer sucks (haha yes, we hauled our laundry all the way to cobble hill) so now I have to go down to the creepy basement to get it and I don't want to. Hopefully I don't run into the crazy hippie girl.
Oh, speaking of crazy hippie girl. There is this one in our building that plays guitar and sings every day and the place smells like patchouli and fish all the time now. But the other day we came home and there was this weird little cart outside full of old-looking vegetables and stuff. It's been there a few times and davey used to bus to work with this weird hippie girl that told everyone on the bus that she makes 'dumpster stew' for all the homeless people on thanksgiving or halloween or something. And her argument was that the dumpster supplies come from an organic food store so it's ok to feed homeless people stew made out of dumpster food she collects. I guess they eat out of garbage cans anyway but still... so anyway, we figure this girl is one and the same but we haven't gotten a glimpse of her yet so we shall see. She is not even a nice hippie either. I saw her in the co-op (oh by the way it's co-op week whatever that means) and she was totally opinionated on what type of sandwich davey was buying and told him to get a different one. I wanted to punch her.
oh sugar, it's 8:15. I better get ready for workzilla.
