rainy today, but thank god not windy. jeebus, windy for weeks in a row. it's not right, this wind, i've lived in Boulder most my life and the last decade......and this wind isn't enough to pair with old timey Coloradans working the "you never know" angle. as a kind of machismo of wtf in the weather that is co-opted by the NY and Cali transplants...

someone tried to steal my classic, mint condition Schwinn Le Tour III today. not a complete vintage treasure at all but it is joy to ride....bombproof steel-frame, heavy like an anchor...with all the sincerity in my heart...a joy. great stuff. Made by Panasonic (hush), but still a rocking bike that is the same age as i am. has been ridden less, though. wtf, people? someone...

My best friend had that same bike stolen from him. Saw the theaf riding it and stole it back. there is something to be said for having a funny colored bike.

I always thought it was fucked up that someone would steal a bike. That could be someone's ride to work.

saw my friend Brian today. one of Boulder's last soulful streetpeople. now, just mean-spirited drunks and meth.

i know it's stupid to romanticize this....but Brian is a talented musician and we used to hang out and play. he's a great player, multi-instrumentalist. guy can really play.

WHEN: Monday Feb 21 @ 7:00 pm
WHERE: Devon's Pub & Cigar

Come on by and hang out. 18+ can attend as long as you're with someone over 21. 21+ to drink obviously.

rocking some Stooges.

i mean really, the Ron Asheton riffs on TV EYE, Loose, and 1970...unreal. LA Blues. Funhouse.

snowing in Colorado, in the immortal phrases of Cameo: word up.
