Ok so I had a really happy dream about a sort of ex( that broke my heart), and now I cant get him out of my head. We are on good terms and talk via email, IM and sometimes the phone a few times a month. For some reason the dream really brought up old strong feelings, and this makes me feel really bad because I have a boyfriend. The ex lives very far away so its not like there is any temptation or anything its just the fact that I am thinking about someone else and questioning my feelings for my boyfriend. I love my guy but it has been a really hard relationship with lots of fights and near breakups. Also I dont see myself getting to the point with him where I would want to marry him, yes I know things could change but as of now I dont see it happening. So this and the fact that just a dream about an ex makes me have second thoughts about my current situation makes me sad.

sorry for the long story, and i'm not sure if that's what you're looking for. but in my experience, dreaming and thinking about guys past happens because there's still a little bit of that "what if". maybe its happening to you right now because you're not sure of the current situation with your new guy. good luck!
