God I am WAY WAY TOO nice. So for the last month and a half my "roommate" has been living rent free. I gave him sheets and a pillow for his bed. I pay the DSL and Dish TV which he enjoys all the time on my new TV and surround sound. I have bought him food. He has been looking for a job since he got here and still has not found anything he has picked up a few days of work here and there for rent for August. He is home almost every day but can't manage to do dishes, vacuume or clean up the house at all. I have let him know that I have to have all the rent money for August and the utilities by the 15th or he needs to find a new place. I also told him that it bugs me that he does nothing around the house even though he isn't working but it doesn't seem to make any impact. He did half the dishes after I said something but the other half are still sitting in the sink. I just don't understand people who take advantage of the kindness of others.

good luck kicking him out. there's no reason you should keep him around if he can't even be grateful enough to you to wash a dish.
