Well I slightly overeacted to my car's failings and got to Manchester and back - I hope the journey is as good for some friends of mine who rock under the moniker Jets Vs Sharks who are playin there tonite at some venue called satan's armpit (or something similar??).
So after some mental driving I got back in time to bare witness to Planes Mistaken for Stars play to a venue packed with 4 foot high Ataris fans. Weird experience, I think both parties were a little shocked. I had the best time though - the ataris even covered Astro Zombies.
Off to Birmingham in the morning for another week away with work - I'm scared I'm gonna by another laptop while mine's being repaired so I don't go insane with bordom.
