I always felt those lines. It really doesn't do any good, some things you just can't blot out.
I was just watching a Johnny Cash tribute and they played his cover or Hurt. I'm feeling a little fragile to say the least. That song brings back so much shit.

I just went to watch a friends band at a little battle of the bands type thing and they were the only act with any feeling, yet still, even with guitar music being so popular right now a singer from another band was moaning how he was an outsider and how he had something to say just before his band launched into something that was not a million miles away for the electric six. If only he'd been brought up on Johnny Cash not Kylie Minogue. Oh so thats what these do (I always wondered).
