Sorry about the lack of updates but I've been busy partying.
Between New Years and the Sugar Bowl I had one wild week down in New Orleans. Hooray for Booze and Casual Sex! To be honest I didn't stop until I got back to work, kind of needed the break. What I didn't need was to get sick a day after getting back to work and spending almost 4 days feeling like poo. Considering everyone else who caught it had it for a week+ I suppose I shouldn't complain. Then again I felt awful so I'm entitled, plus my immune system is superior to most people's (they've done studies on me and everything) therefore I should be a bit cranky when I do eventually get ill.
However, Now I am feeling much better. Things are great!
I finally broke down and bought a TV for my room, plan on putting it up when I get home. I haven't had a TV in my room in like 10 years. One, I'm not a big TV watcher, and two, I prefer to keep my bedroom dedicated purely for sleeping and sex. But, my #1 asked why I didn't have a TV, so I bought one. I have such a weakness for her, she's so awesome. If I were capable of a serious, monogamous relationship (or just got tired of all the casual sex) she would definitely be my first choice [hence being my #1]...
My roomy is moving to Miami in 2 weeks. That sucks I suppose. She was a good roommate and I will miss her. She moves out at a good time though as my lease is up for renewal, so I can find a new roomy and not miss out on much. I don't really need one as I make enough money to cover the $1500/month rent quite easily; but, it's nice to have a female around to watch my shit and keep up the place while I'm gone. Plus, it comes in real handy when said roommate has a ton of hot friends. It's gonna be hard to replace her...
Anyone looking for a place to stay in NOLA? it's $740/month in the heart of the Downtown business district, 2 blocks from the French Quarter. Plus, I'm only home 2 weeks a month on average...Let me know...
I'm really looking forward to Mardi Gras, all the big festivities will be starting in about a month and I really can't wait. I usually have fun for Mardi Gras but never really look forward to all the crowds and hassle and what-not. I'm a block from the parade route and have never lived so close to all the action, this might be a record-breaking year and I am beyond excited...
I suppose that's enough for now, feel free to comment below on anything...
