A few things to touch on...
What's the deal with people who are supposed to be your friends, yet they ignore you as soon as they start seeing someone. This always happens with my female friends. Granted, I can see limiting your time with someone such as me when you're dating someone in order to alleviate potential problems and jealousy, but to just up and ignore someone completely without explanation is wrong. Friends don't do that. Yet, it seems to happen so often i suppose I'm used to it. Then again, I take friendship very seriously. Yet, at the same time, I don't hold grudges so when they inevitably need help with their relationships I'm always willing to help. For a bad, bad man I'm a real nice guy.
Not complaining, just saying.
Onto some complaining, haha!
I spent most my time at home busy beyond belief. I managed to see some friends but I had a whole 2 week period where I was at the mercy of schedules and appointments. I'm not a "plans" kinda guy, too laid back for that, and I need sometime to just do what I want to do. Anyways, I feel as though 2 weeks off of work were a complete waste and I was not my normal self, decidedly annoyed most the time. Things have since calmed down and I finally feel normal again and ready to tear some shit up....
On that note...
My work called me before I was scheduled to go out and told me I'd be off for 2-6 weeks more, which made me happy
and I started making plans, maybe a vacation or something. Definitely intended to hit Halloween in NOLA though. Halloween in New Orleans is AWESOME! on top of that they have VooDoo Fest and this particular year we have a big Prime-Time Saints-Steelers game, so the French Quarter (of which my apartment is 2 blocks from), the CBD (where I live), and Uptown are all going to be an insane orgiastic feast of sense filled with all sorts of delightful debauchery. Epic Win!
But Alas, 2 days later I get called to come in and work, bummer... However at this point, there's a chance if we finish up soon I may make it home for the weekend. So, I'm doing my best to get shit done and make things happen. (Getting shit done and making things happen is kinda what I do best.)
I suppose I'll know more by tomorrow. If I make it home for Halloween I think I'll upload some new pics so you can further bask in my greatness, lol.
