South street was off the hook. I liked it a lot. I saw a Scion boxcar full of white boyz blasting "Adults Only" by Slick Rick. (If you aren't familiar with that song, it's about 8 years old and about anal sex and it's chorus is "ain't no way to put it subtle, when I want the butthole," they obviously were only listening to it to be cool and vulgar)
I was really overwhelmed by the number of fashionable, attractive people I saw there. And the ratio of white people to other colors of people. I guess it could have been because we were mostly in affluent neighborhoods the whole time, but it was still surprising.
We went antiquing in the antique district and saw a crazy old lady yell at a British shop owner about some synthetic stone he sold her, or something.
