I have not had a pen pal since high school, LOL. Since i graduated in 1983 that is quite some time ago. I was traveling in Finland with a team for a soccer tournament and met one of those rare persons you meet very infrequently. We quickly struck a close friendship but really only had the means to write.
Your idea sounds like a totally fun thing to do.
