in other news...i finally looked up the book that i was published in, turns out you can view it online. the best part of it all is that my contribution is my poetry, written from my heart
i also wrote the glossary for this book, but the poems are really what i cared about. the author, jane, was my voice teacher at the university of michigan. she is AMAZING and i was FLOORED when she asked to use some of my work in her book. i suppose it is used for a textbook and that makes me feel all high-brow literary and shit
keyword "lisa" heh...never have i been so proud of my writing. i need to fork over some dough and buy the silly book
it would be sad for it to go out of print before i get a copy.
at least you all get to witness it, thanks to the magic of amazon online

I was published once in a poetry compilation. It was odd to see something I wrote in print.
What's the name of this book? If I can find it, I'd like to check it out.
