so i got measured for my little silver dress...i am rather excited

still waiting for the halloween costume to arrive via post...cross your fingers

i had a really really bad day earlier this week. it was tuesday night, in fact. i had not planned on attending pool league, as i had been told we had a "bye"...well someone didn't read the "revised" schedule, so my team actually was supposed to play. i was stressing out, leaving messages for my teammates and changing my clothes. so i got a late start, rushing to leave my house and i got pulled over. i didn't stop for a full three seconds at a stop sign. soooo very lame. something like a $115 ticket AND points on my license!

it didn't end there...i lost my match. it was close, but i lost. i had been winning quite frequently, so i wasn't terribly upset...except about the ticket. then rachel proceeded to get me quite drunk with my new favorite concoction. oatmeal cookies on the rocks...double shots, just for me

the week went by quickly, and by friday i was happy once again.

now i am going out to pick new fabric as my mom is making me a quilt. i am designing it, but she is making it. she has got to be the craftiest lady on earth! my mom sewed nearly all my clothes up until i was 10.

it is a lovely afternoon here with lots of sun. the leaves are beginning to change...it may be the best time of year in michigan.
