boss called in sick today, so the ball is already rolling in the right direction
other than that...nothing much going on in my corner of the world. my face has finally cleared up enough to take pictures (thank god) and i figured it was about time to do some of that. maybe later on today...
until then, the story behind my new profile picture...and it's kind of funny
taken st. patrick's day of this year, this picture has obviously been turned sepia to tone down the garish color mixing of a bright green t-shirt, copper-red hair, and too much eye makeup. we had gone to the local "irish" pub to meet some locals. one of the girls, someone i had never met before, strikes up a conversation with tipsy me in the bathroom. before i can blink, she is putting makeup on me...where i tend to prefer the natural look, she has rimmed my eyes with black liner and shadow. nice girl, named miranda, she said she was an avon lady...i wish i had kept her number. the people i was with were shocked to see me all made up like a glam chick, obviously i had to take a few photos to commemorate the silly event.

don't worry, i will replace it soon with something really beautiful.
