good news: i got the skirt as pictured in my journal several days ago, it fits and is cuter than expected.
bad news: there won't be any pictures 'cause my house got broken into last night and one of the three things stolen was my digital camera
yeah, i guess it is pretty bad news. it could have been much worse. they didn't break any windows, hurt my cat, or find my stash. they did get my somewhat tasty camera, my bf's watch, and a box of his blank checks. when i got home yesterday, i found the kitchen window open (it had been left unlocked) and the screen removed and on the ground. i ran into the bedroom and discovered the dresser drawers on the floor and clothes everywhere. papers were scattered in the office. i can't imagine why they chose our house, we have next to nothing.
we made a police report, and all the necessary claims will be filed. i am getting a new camera one way or another...fuckers.

I never got burgled, but I've been robbed by a few landlords over the years. Don't even get involved with those people.
