I was given an audiobook by a friend's mom last night, "Become your own matchmaker". It is the book written / spoken by Patti Stanger,the lady who owns "the Millionaires Club", that dating company for millionaires.
Why did she feel the need to give it to me?!?!!?!?!?!? Perhaps because I am single and that bothers her more than me, apparently.
But I have to guiltily admit that I put it on in the car and laughed my arse off. Here is what I have learnt so far.
* Guys don't like curly hair (strike one to me)
* Guys don't like redheads, they are not the freshest on the shelf and the fact that carpet matches the drapes freaks guys out.
* Real men like to hunt - women should never ask a guy out.
* Single women should create a "bio card", it is postcard size, with a photo on one side and your "bio" on the other, give these out to people to give to single guys they know! (what's that smell, you ask? Oh that, that is desperation)
* A woman's waist to hip ratio should be 0.7.
* Boat shows are great to pick up rich single guys (but I am in a desert!)
* The prepackaged food section of the grocery store is better than the produce department for picking up. Become friendly with the butcher and ask if he knows of any single guys that come in!?!?!?
and my favourite so far which kind of follows the last suggestion:
* Real men eat meat.
